Flat Iron House The oddly-shaped Flat Iron building is so named due to its resemblance to an actual flat iron from the sky. This is just one of the many restored Edwardian buildings in Lacombe's downtown, and dates back to 1905. Inside is an interpretive centre highlighting the history of architecture in the city and displaying artifacts from its past. Address: 100-5005 - 50 Ave. Lacombe AB Canada T4L 2L1
