Alberta’s Own is a 3-day outdoor concert event. Alberta's Top Indie Showcase is located at Baseball Diamond 10, Michener Park, Lacombe. Bring out your tents, RV's and BBQ's and prepare for the time of your life!
Alberta’s Own features up to 20 of Alberta’s top Indie bands from a wide variety of musical genres, which may include but is not limited to Hard Rock, Rock, Punk, Funk, Blues and Jazz. The purpose of Alberta’s Own is to showcase independent artists, helping them gain experience and exposure.

Planned activities include pancake breakfasts, parade, show and shine, 100' shoot out, kiddies carnival, RC event, drive in movie, picnic in the park and much much more! To commemorate the anniversary of Terry’s Marathon of Hope, every school in Canada is invited to participate in the Terry Fox National School Run Day. This event will be held simultaneously at schools large and small from coast-to-coast. With millions of schools participating, this could one of the largest single-day events in Canadian history and will allow our youth to show all of Canada the power they have to help others.

In conjunction with the Lacombe Art Exhibit & Sale this event is held at The Gallery on Main downtown Lacombe. Showcasing the work of over 70 artists the Gallery will be open from 10AM to 9PM April 16th 17th and 18th and from 10AM to 5PM Sunday the 19th.
Glass Blowing demo by Darwyn Young Saturday afternoon and Jeanette Northey painting on site Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
Wine and cheese receptions Thursday, Friday and Saturday 5 to 9 PM with artists on location.

The Gallery on Main Lacombe "Spring Gala" Show & Sale
One of two top yearly events at The Gallery on Main in downtown Lacombe. Showcasing new work into the Gallery by over 70 artists. This is the main Spring Show and features Paintings,Pottery, Sculptures, Stained and Fused Glass, Jewellery, Fabric art and much more.
Open from 12 to 9PM May 21st, 22nd and 23rd with a wine and cheese reception from 6-9PM daily. Open Sunday May 24th from 12 to 5PM.
Artists are on location all weekend with demo's daily including a Stained Glass demo by Theresa Potter on Saturday and Painting by Charles Donald on Sunday.
